Bethesda’s quietly ramping up its Fallout lineup, with reports confirming “multiple” projects are in the works. A Fallout 3 Remastered is apparently teaming Bethesda up with Virtuous, and insider chatter on the Friends Per Second podcast suggests there’s a whole roster of Wasteland adventures cooking—just don’t expect release dates anytime soon.
Of course, fans are drooling over the idea of Fallout: New Vegas 2 (or at least a remaster), and whispers of Fallout 5 or a Fallout 2 remake aren’t going anywhere. Now that Microsoft owns both Bethesda and Obsidian—surviving recent layoffs—there’s real hope for a dream-team collab if everyone’s game.
