After laying off over 70 staffers, the studio has “shuttered” its Motorsport division and now lends its expertise to Horizon instead of working on new Motorsport titles.
This shake-up comes amid a broader wave of Microsoft gaming cutbacks: Perfect Dark’s Initiative studio was shuttered, Rare’s Everwild got canned, a ZeniMax Online MMORPG and a Romero Games FPS were axed, and several other high-profile projects have been quietly killed off.
