CD Projekt RED just posted a “lead network engineer” role for Cyberpunk 2, explicitly calling out “multiplayer systems” and “matchmaking”—so it looks like the next entry will finally get an online mode (maybe salvaging what was cut from CP2077). Don’t expect heavy details until after The Witcher 4 wraps, though.
Meanwhile, Fortnite is upping the ante on the creator economy by letting players sell UGC with sweeter payouts than Roblox, and some new DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has leaked early thanks to a few eager retailers.
