In Hollow Knight: Silksong you kick off with just five masks (aka five hit points), but there are 20 Mask Shards scattered across the world—collect any four and you earn an extra mask, effectively doubling your HP to ten by the endgame.
These shards pop up in every major zone—from Bone Bottom, Wormways and Deep Docks to Far Fields (including Act 3), Bellhart (also Act 3), Shellwood, Blasted Steps, Cogwork Core, Songclave, Whispering Vaults, The Slab, Mount Fay (and again in Act 3), Weavenest Alta, Wisp Thicket and Bilewater—so be on the lookout everywhere you roam!
