Nintendo’s newest hardware definitely flexes its muscles with Pokémon Legends: Z-A. In a head-to-head graphics romp, Switch 2 delivers smoother framerates, sharper textures and crisper anti-aliasing compared to the original Switch’s more jagged edges and occasional dips in performance.
That said, the core adventure feels the same on both systems—so unless you’re chasing every extra frame and pixel, the OG Switch still holds its own. Decide for yourself which version scratches your itch!
