Nintendo’s finally bumping Switch 1 prices for the first time since 2017—every model (OLED, Lite, you name it) is jumping by about $30–$50, and extras like Joy-Con and Alarmo clocks are following suit. A few Switch 2 accessories will cost more, though the console itself and its games remain unchanged.
On the flip side, Switch 2 is off to a great start with roughly 6 million units sold worldwide, putting Nintendo on track for its 15 million end-of-March 2026 goal. And if you were hoping to play Battlefield 6 on Switch 2, you might be out of luck—Vince Zampella says no port is planned.
