Red Sonja is back in a gritty reboot starring Matilda Lutz as the fierce heroine forced into gladiatorial pits by a tyrant named Dragan and his deadly bride, Dark Annisia. Alongside Robert Sheehan, Wallis Day, Martyn Ford, Michael Bisping, Phillip Winchester and Trevor Eve, Sonja battles through blood-soaked arenas to rally an army of outcasts and reclaim her freedom.
Directed by MJ Bassett and written by Tasha Huo, the film is produced by a powerhouse team including Les Weldon, Yariv Lerner, Christa Campbell and Avi Lerner, with Trevor Short, Dorothy Canton and others serving as executive producers. Red Sonja slashes into theaters on August 15, 2025, and drops digitally on August 29, 2025.
