Bubsy 4D Preview TL;DR

Bubsy’s back and, surprisingly, this revival nails a lot of what made the old mascot-platformers fun: vibrant visuals, snappy animations, punchy controls, and some genuinely clever level ideas that show the team knows their legacy. The classic quips land more often than you’d expect in 2025, making the whole thing feel like a warm (and goofy) hug for longtime fans.

That said, it’s not purrfect—camera hiccups sneak in, a handful of stages overstretch their welcome, and a few of those pun-heavy jokes fall flat. In short, a charismatic comeback with some stray hairballs still to swat away.
