The Running Man throws us into a near-future game show where desperate contestants must survive 30 days being hunted by pro assassins for escalating cash prizes. Glen Powell plays working-class dad Ben Richards, who enters the deadly spectacle to save his sick daughter and quickly becomes a fan favorite—much to the annoyance of producer Dan Killian (Josh Brolin) and a nation glued to their screens.
Directed by Edgar Wright and co-written with Michael Bacall, the film is produced by Simon Kinberg, Nira Park and Wright himself. Based on Stephen King’s novel, it hits theaters November 14, 2025.
