Itch.io is quietly restoring its free adult NSFW library to search results while on the hunt for payment processors that don’t freak out over erotic content—Stripe has already ruled out anything that’s “designed for sexual gratification.”

To keep things squeaky-clean (or at least properly labeled), creators must flag their pages as “no payments” if they want to be re-indexed and slap on a new “sensitive material” warning for any porn- or fetish-style content. Paid adult titles will be rolled out slowly once a friendly processor is locked in, capping off a wild week that saw itch.io originally de-index all NSFW stuff after pressure from anti-porn campaigners (Steam had similar headaches).
