ROG’s upcoming Xbox-branded handheld PCs just got unmasked early thanks to a slip-up on ASUS’s Spanish store: the base ROG Xbox Ally is pegged at €599, while the souped-up Ally X will run you €899. Those tags line up perfectly with last month’s tipster leaks (shout-out to eXtas1s), hinting that preorders could kick off as soon as August—so keep your wallet at the ready.
Under the hood, both run Windows 11 and play nice with Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Epic and the rest. You’ll get a 7-inch Full HD 120Hz screen no matter which you pick, but the Ally rocks 16 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD on an AMD Ryzen Z2 A APU, while the Ally X cranks it up to 24 GB RAM, a 1 TB SSD and a beefier Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip for extra horsepower.
