TL;DR: EA CEO Andrew Wilson says the launch window for the next Battlefield is looking a lot clearer now that Rockstar has pushed Grand Theft Auto 6 back to May 26, 2026. Battlefield is locked in for release by March 2026 (with a full reveal this summer), giving it at least a two-month head start before GTA 6 lands.
Wilson also noted that it’s pretty tough for other studios to suddenly pull releases forward just because GTA 6 got delayed, so EA feels good about owning the quieter spring window and maximizing the value they’ve poured into Battlefield.
