The Witcher 4 developer CD Projekt Red is teaming up with Epic Games for tomorrow’s State of Unreal keynote (June 3 at 9:30 AM ET) to unveil the Unreal Engine 5 tech and in-engine features powering its next big RPG. We’ve only seen a cinematic trailer so far, so this could be our first real look at in-game visuals—maybe even proper gameplay—and hints at tools that’ll drive future CDPR projects (hello, Cyberpunk 2?).
Beyond the tech tease, the game shifts the spotlight from Geralt to Ciri (despite some grumbles), and Doug Cockle, Geralt’s longtime voice actor, has already told naysayers to “read the damn books.” IGN will have all the highlights and that first gameplay peek from State of Unreal tomorrow.
