The boom time continues at Warhammer 40,000 maker Games Workshop, which has announced it’s handing out £20 million (approx. $27 million) to its staff as a bonus.

TL;DR: Games Workshop has smashed it in the past year, growing core revenue to £560 m (from £494.7 m) and licensing revenue to £50 m (from £31 m). Profits before tax jumped to £255 m (vs. £203 m), so the Nottingham-based Warhammer 40K maker is handing out a £20 m bonus pot (about £13,333 or $18 k each if split among ~1,500 staff).

Beyond miniature sales, Games Workshop’s IP business is booming—thanks to hits like Space Marine 2, the Secret Level animation and a new Cavill-fronted cinematic deal with Amazon. Licensing revenue hit a record this year (though it may dip in 2025/26), and with Space Marine 3 and more TV/film projects on the horizon, Warhammer isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
